The Project Head will lead and manage all project-based business operations for the franchise in Libya, ensuring seamless coordination with the headquarters, and delivering high-quality project execution in line with brand standards. This role is responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, procurement, client relationships, installation, and timely completion of all furnishing and fit-out projects in Libya.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end execution of all project businesses in Libya, including residential, commercial, hospitality, and government projects. Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure timely delivery of all projects in accordance with client requirements and brand standards.
- Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the local operations and the headquarters. Coordinate with procurement, design, logistics, and operations teams for product sourcing and support. Provide regular progress reports to the Chairman and relevant stakeholders.
- Business Development: Identify new project opportunities and build relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and government entities. Support the franchise team in preparing project proposals, presentations, and bids.
- Team Management: Recruit, lead, and develop a competent project team in Libya. Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance to ensure accountability and efficiency.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all project deliverables meet brand specifications and quality standards. Monitor compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Financial Oversight: Control project costs and ensure profitability. Approve project-related expenditures within delegated authority levels.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in project or operations management in furniture, fitout, sanitaryware, tiles, kitchen wardrobe, doors, interior or related industry.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale furnishing or interior projects.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics in Libya and GCC coordination practices.
- Fluency in English, Arabic, additional language is a plus
